Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Peptikol EasyGraft (also known as PeptiCol EZgraft) is a photoresponsive peptide-based tissue regeneration inducer and combination medical device developed by NIBEC. It is designed for dental bone regeneration and periodontal tissue regeneration, particularly for extraction socket preservation procedures after tooth extraction. The device combines high-purity collagen, functional active substances, and regenerative functional peptides within a photoreactive collagen gel. It utilizes light as a catalyst to enhance the release and structural stability of the peptides, promoting bone regeneration and suppressing periodontitis without requiring chemical crosslinking agents. A specific formulation, PeptiCol-EZgraft Oss, which combines the xenogeneic bone graft material OssGen-X15 with the light-responsive collagen gel, has been approved by South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
