Per-C-Vax is a novel, organ-agnostic, allogenic tumor lysate immuno-stimulant developed by Datar Cancer Genetics for the treatment of various solid organ malignancies. It is derived from a multi-organ cell-line cocktail that has been induced into apoptosis to capture a broad spectrum of Tumor Associated Molecular Patterns (TAMPs) and Damage Associated Molecular Patterns (DAMPs). Administered via subcutaneous injection, Per-C-Vax is designed to educate a patient's peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) to initiate a targeted immune response against autologous tumor cells. In vitro studies have demonstrated significant cell-killing activity across multiple cancer types, including head and neck, breast, lung, and colorectal cancers. As of mid-2024, human clinical trials are planned to establish the safety and efficacy of this therapeutic approach.
