**Perfluoropropane-albumin microspheres** is an albumin-shelled, gas-filled microbubble ultrasound contrast agent developed and manufactured by Xiamen Lizhuo Pharmaceutical and marketed in China as **Lidaxing**. The product consists of perfluoropropane gas enclosed in heat-denatured human albumin microsphere shells and is supplied as a freeze-dried injectable preparation. After administration, the intravascular microbubbles enhance ultrasound backscatter and nonlinear acoustic signal generation, improving visualization of blood pools and tissue perfusion rather than acting through a pharmacologic receptor. It has been approved in China for left-ventricular contrast-enhanced ultrasound, evaluated in a multicenter Phase III hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography study for fallopian-tube patency, and studied in a completed Phase II thyroid contrast-enhanced ultrasound dose-finding trial.
