Overview

PeriActive is an oral rinse developed by Izun Pharma Ltd. It contains extracts of Sambucus nigra, Echinacea purpurea, and Centella asiatica. The product has demonstrated the ability to significantly reduce gingival inflammation in a phase II study and other clinical trials. It is currently being investigated in a Phase IV study to evaluate and compare its efficacy to chlorhexidine 0.12% rinse in managing post-surgical inflammation associated with dental implant surgery, with the aim of enhancing soft tissue healing and reducing localized inflammation.
