Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Perindopril + amlodipine + atorvastatin** is an oral fixed-dose cardiovascular polypill combining the ACE inhibitor perindopril, the dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker amlodipine, and the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor atorvastatin. It provides simultaneous blood-pressure lowering and lipid lowering and is used as substitution therapy in adults already adequately controlled with the three components given concurrently. Marketed formulations are indicated for essential hypertension and/or stable coronary artery disease associated with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed hyperlipidemia. The combination was developed and marketed by Servier under country-specific brands including Triveram, Lipertance, Stapressial, and Statriam; Valongix is a marketed EGIS product.
