Overview

This experimental regenerative therapy, developed by KLE Society's Institute of Dental Sciences, combines autologous peripheral blood mesenchymal stem cells (PBMSCs) with a platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM). Often referred to as 'supercell' in literature, the treatment is designed to address edentulism by enhancing bone regeneration and osseointegration around dental implants. The PRFM acts as a biological scaffold and growth factor reservoir, while the PBMSCs provide osteogenic potential to accelerate healing and improve implant stability, as measured by the implant stability quotient (ISQ) and resonance frequency analysis. This tissue engineering approach aims to provide a more effective solution for tooth loss by leveraging the patient's own stem cells harvested from peripheral blood.
