The Personalized Idiotype Vaccine is a therapeutic vaccine developed by Bayer Innovation GmbH for the treatment of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL). This vaccine is designed to be personalized, utilizing idiotype proteins specific to a patient's tumor. These idiotype proteins are produced using Bayer's magnICON® plant-based expression system and are coupled with Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH), supplied by Stellar Biotechnologies, which serves as an immunogenic carrier to enhance the immune response. The vaccine was in Phase 1 clinical trials for NHL.
