Overview

This personalized neoantigen mRNA tumor vaccine is an investigational immunotherapy developed by Fudan University in collaboration with Shanghai Regenelead Therapies for the treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The vaccine is custom-designed for each patient by encoding unique tumor neoantigens identified through genomic sequencing of the individual's tumor mutations. These mRNA sequences are delivered to the patient to stimulate the immune system, specifically inducing a cytotoxic T-cell response against cells expressing these neoantigens. The vaccine is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT06156267) as part of a combination regimen with the PD-L1 inhibitor adebrelimab and sequential mFOLFIRINOX chemotherapy in patients who have undergone surgical resection for pancreatic cancer.
