Personalized neoantigen-pulsed autologous dendritic cell injections (specifically ZSNeo-DC) represent an individualized cancer immunotherapy developed by ZSky Biotech. The process involves harvesting a patient's own dendritic cells and pulsing them ex vivo with a selection of neoantigens—mutated peptides identified through genomic sequencing of the patient's specific tumor. These loaded dendritic cells are then administered subcutaneously to the patient, where they act as professional antigen-presenting cells to prime and expand neoantigen-specific T cells. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of traditional vaccines by targeting unique mutations that are not subject to central tolerance, thereby inducing a potent and specific anti-tumor immune response. ZSNeo-DC is currently being evaluated in clinical studies for various malignant solid tumors, both as a monotherapy and in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors.
