The personalized tumor neoantigen-based dendritic cell vaccine is an investigational autologous cell therapy developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors. The therapeutic process begins with the identification of patient-specific tumor mutations (neoantigens) through genomic sequencing of the patient's tumor tissue. These unique neoantigens are synthesized as peptides and used to pulse (load) the patient's own harvested dendritic cells (DCs) *ex vivo*. Once these mature, antigen-presenting DCs are re-administered to the patient, they prime and activate neoantigen-specific T cells, particularly cytotoxic T lymphocytes, to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing those specific mutations. This personalized approach is designed to generate a highly specific immune response while minimizing off-target effects on healthy tissue.
