Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of two HER2-targeted monoclonal antibodies (pertuzumab and trastuzumab) plus a PI3K inhibitor (taselisib). This regimen is designed to provide dual HER2 blockade while simultaneously inhibiting the PI3K pathway, which is often activated in HER2-positive breast cancers and can contribute to resistance to HER2-targeted therapies. The combination therapy aims to overcome resistance mechanisms to HER2-targeted therapies, particularly those involving PI3K signaling.
