PF-03715455 is a potent, selective small molecule inhibitor of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK), with higher selectivity for the p38α isoform over p38β. It was developed by Pfizer as an inhaled therapy and investigated primarily for respiratory diseases, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The drug demonstrated inhibition of inflammatory mediators such as IL-6, MCP‑1, MIP1β, CC16, and CRP in preclinical and early clinical studies.
