PF-06755990 is a trivalent DNA plasmid vaccine developed by Pfizer for the treatment of prostate cancer. The vaccine encodes three prostate cancer-associated antigens: prostate-specific antigen (PSA), prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), and prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA). It is designed to be delivered into host cells, where the encoded antigens are expressed and presented to the immune system to stimulate a targeted T-cell mediated immune response against prostate cancer cells. The vaccine has been evaluated in clinical trials, often administered via intramuscular injection followed by electroporation to enhance cellular uptake of the DNA plasmids.
