Overview

PF-07261271 is a bispecific antibody developed by Pfizer for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). It targets and inhibits both interleukin 12 subunit p40 (IL-12p40) and tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15 (TL1A), also known as VEGI. By blocking these two pro-inflammatory pathways, the drug aims to reduce inflammation associated with IBD. The agent is administered intravenously or subcutaneously and is currently in Phase I clinical trials for IBD, including ulcerative colitis.
