**PF-07911145** (also known as BNT167) is an investigational **mRNA-based prophylactic vaccine** developed by Pfizer in collaboration with BioNTech for the prevention of **varicella** (chickenpox) and potentially **herpes zoster** (shingles), caused by the varicella-zoster virus. It encodes viral antigens to induce immune responses, including neutralizing antibodies and T-cell immunity, against the herpesvirus. The vaccine advanced to **Phase 1** clinical trials but has since been **dropped** from further development.[5][7][9][13][15]
