It was evaluated in the Phase 1 C5401001 study in older adults as 0.5 mL and 1.0 mL combined-vaccine formulations, assessing safety, tolerability, and immune responses against respiratory syncytial virus and influenza. Pfizer subsequently halted development of the early-stage RSV-influenza combination vaccine program.
