Overview

PF-08046033 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by Pfizer that targets P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1), also known as SELPLG. PSGL-1 is an immune checkpoint regulator expressed on various immune cells, including T cells and myeloid cells, where it plays a role in modulating immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. By binding to PSGL-1, PF-08046033 aims to reverse immune exhaustion and promote an anti-tumor immune response. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), and melanoma.
