Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PF-08046052 is a potential first-in-class bi-specific antibody drug designed to conditionally activate Vγ9Vδ2 (Vgamma9 Vdelta2) T cells upon crosslinking to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). This activation triggers potent and preferential killing of EGFR-positive tumor cells. The drug leverages the Gammabody platform developed by LAVA Therapeutics and is being evaluated for its safety, clinical pharmacology, and anti-tumor activity in advanced solid tumors. EGFR is a well-established target over-expressed in multiple solid tumor types including colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). PF-08046052 is currently under clinical development by Pfizer under an exclusive worldwide license from LAVA Therapeutics[4][5][6].
