Overview

PF1803 is a first-in-class, bifunctional recombinant fusion protein biologic being developed by ImmunoForge for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA). The drug is engineered using ImmunoForge's proprietary Elastin-Like Polypeptide (ELP) platform technology, which is designed to extend the therapeutic half-life and improve the pharmacokinetic profile of the protein. PF1803 targets the Osteoclast-Associated Receptor (OSCAR), a novel catabolic regulator identified as a key driver in the pathogenesis of OA. By modulating OSCAR-mediated pathways, PF1803 aims to function as a disease-modifying osteoarthritis drug (DMOAD), potentially inhibiting cartilage degradation and joint damage rather than merely providing symptomatic relief. It is currently in the early-stage/preclinical phase of development.
