Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PfCS102 is a synthetic peptide vaccine candidate based on a peptide spanning the C-terminal region of Plasmodium falciparum circumsporozoite protein. It was developed as a potential vaccine against the pre-erythrocytic stage of malaria. Clinical trials have shown that PfCS102 is safe and highly immunogenic, capable of inducing both antibody responses and T-cell mediated immunity in healthy volunteers.
