PGDM1400LS

PGDM1400LS is a long-acting, engineered variant of the broadly neutralizing antibody (bNAb) PGDM1400, developed for HIV prevention and treatment. It is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody with an LS mutation to extend its in vivo half-life. The drug targets the V2 apex region on the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein trimer, exhibiting broad and potent neutralizing activity against diverse HIV-1 strains. Clinical studies have shown that PGDM1400LS has a median elimination half-life of approximately 54 days and can be administered intravenously or subcutaneously. It is being evaluated both as monotherapy and in combination with other bNAbs such as VRC07-523LS and PGT121.414.LS for enhanced breadth and potency in neutralization[1][2][3][4][5].
