PGL1001

PGL1001 is an investigational somatostatin receptor agonist being developed by PregLem/Richter for the treatment of age-related female infertility associated with diminished ovarian reserve. In preclinical studies in female rhesus macaques, prolonged administration of PGL1001 was reported to be safe and did not alter general health, menstrual cycle length, or ovarian hormone production, supporting its potential to modulate ovarian function without overt endocrine disruption.[9][13][5] As a somatostatin receptor–targeting peptide, PGL1001 is designed to influence hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis signaling and ovarian physiology, with the goal of improving reproductive outcomes in women with compromised ovarian reserve.[9][13][5]
