Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PGSXC-T1D is an investigational cell therapy being developed by PrimeGen for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. It is based on the proprietary **stemXcell** platform, which utilizes "Triple Activated" Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs). This platform is designed to enhance the natural immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and paracrine signaling capabilities of MSCs. In the context of Type 1 Diabetes, PGSXC-T1D aims to suppress the autoimmune destruction of pancreatic beta cells and promote a pro-regenerative environment to restore or preserve insulin production. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
