Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PGSXC-T2D is an investigational cell therapy being developed by PrimeGen for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The therapy is built upon the company's proprietary stemXcell platform, which utilizes 'Triple Activated' Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs). These cells are engineered to deliver enhanced immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and paracrine tissue-supportive signals compared to standard MSCs. By targeting the underlying chronic inflammatory environment associated with metabolic disease, PGSXC-T2D aims to improve glycemic control and support tissue repair. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
