Overview

**pGT141GmCSF-b7.1** is a nonviral plasmid-DNA cancer immunogene-therapy construct evaluated preclinically with intratumoral plasmid delivery followed by electroporation. It encodes granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor and the B7-1 costimulatory molecule, aiming to recruit and activate antigen-presenting cells through GM-CSF while enhancing T-cell costimulation through B7-1 expression. In murine CT26 colon adenocarcinoma and B16F10 melanoma models, it was used as a standard plasmid comparator to the enhanced pEEVGmCSF-b7.1 vector; pGT141GmCSF-b7.1 inhibited tumor growth but did not produce the durable tumor regression reported for the pEEV construct.
