Overview

PH-905 is a self-delivering small interfering RNA (siRNA) compound developed using Phio Pharmaceuticals' INTASYL technology. It specifically targets and silences the Cbl-b gene in primary natural killer (NK) cells. Cbl-b is known to limit NK cell activation; by silencing this gene, PH-905 enhances NK cell proliferation, activation, and cytotoxicity against tumor cells. Preclinical data show that treatment with PH-905 increases the anti-tumor response of NK cells without negatively impacting their viability. The compound is being investigated as an adjunct to improve adoptive cell therapy (ACT), particularly for hematological malignancies such as leukemia[1].
