Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**PH100** is an investigational, orally administered standardized extract of purified phlorotannins derived from the brown alga *Ecklonia cava*, developed by Phloronol. Its characterized major constituents include 8,8'-bieckol, dieckol, and phlorofucofuroeckol A. In a completed randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled single-ascending-dose Phase 1 study in healthy adults, PH100 capsules were evaluated at doses from 100 mg to 1,600 mg for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics. No specific molecular therapeutic target or validated clinical mechanism of action was established in the available trial record. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04335045))
