TriAsorB (phenylene bis-diphenyltriazine) is a broad-spectrum organic sun filter developed by Pierre Fabre. It is distinguished by its ability to provide protection not only against UVB and UVA rays but also against High Energy Visible (HEV) blue light up to 450 nm. The molecule functions through a combination of absorption, reflection, and scattering of light across a wide spectrum. It is primarily incorporated into topical dermo-cosmetic formulations to prevent photoaging, cellular damage (such as lipofuscin accumulation), and sun-induced hyperpigmentation. By shielding skin cells from oxidative stress and lysosomal damage induced by UV and blue light, TriAsorB helps maintain skin integrity and prevents accelerated aging.
