Drug intelligence / Profile preview
phIL-12 + PPC is an investigational combination product intended for cancer immunotherapy, combining phIL-12, a plasmid DNA encoding human Interleukin-12 (IL-12), with PPC. phIL-12 is delivered intratumorally via gene electrotransfer (GET) to induce local expression of IL-12, a cytokine that stimulates anti-tumor immune responses by promoting T cell and NK cell activity. PPC in this context is referenced as a component of various IL-12 gene delivery studies, but there is insufficient data identifying its specific nature for this combination. The main indication under investigation is basal cell carcinoma and other skin tumors.
