Phleum pratense major allergens adsorbed onto aluminium hydroxide is an investigational subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (SCIT) product developed by Allergopharma. It consists of a cocktail of recombinant major allergens from Timothy grass pollen (*Phleum pratense*)—specifically proteins such as Phl p 1, Phl p 2, Phl p 5, and Phl p 6—formulated with an aluminium hydroxide adjuvant. The product is designed to treat IgE-mediated allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis by inducing immune tolerance and desensitizing the patient to grass pollen. By administering increasing doses of these recombinant allergens, the therapy aims to shift the immune response from a Th2-dominated allergic profile to a Th1/Treg-mediated tolerant state, thereby reducing symptoms upon natural exposure. It has been evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials (e.g., NCT00666341) in adult populations.
