Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Phospholimab, also known as Plazumab or DIACC1010, is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by the French biotech company Diaccurate, created by Truffle Capital. It was developed under an exclusive worldwide license from Institut Pasteur, based on the discovery of the role of the PLA2G1B enzyme in HIV infection. Phospholimab works by neutralizing the PLA2G1B enzyme, which is known to contribute to the disablement of CD4+ T-cells in HIV patients. The drug's primary goal is to restore immune function in individuals with HIV and potentially other diseases.
