The photocurable regenerative dermal filler is an investigational injectable product designed for use in aesthetic and reconstructive medicine. It is composed primarily of recombinant human collagen (rhCollagen) and hyaluronic acid, forming a semiliquid solution that is injected beneath the skin and then hardened *in situ* by external light illumination. This process induces polymerization, resulting in a stable implant that provides immediate lifting and sculpting effects. Uniquely, as the material degrades over time, it promotes tissue regeneration—new tissue forms to replace the degrading scaffold. The product aims to address contour deficiencies, facial lifting/sculpting, and potentially breast augmentation or reconstruction by enhancing cell proliferation and new tissue formation compared to standard fillers. The technology was developed by CollPlant Biotechnologies with a global development and commercialization agreement with Allergan Aesthetics (AbbVie). It remains under development for aesthetic indications such as facial rejuvenation[4][5][6][7].
