Overview

Physiorelax is a topical, natural musculoskeletal health care cream designed for massage on muscles and ligaments. Its key active ingredient is helenalin, a sesquiterpene lactone derived from Arnica montana, which is part of a proprietary complex called 'Helenalin2' that also includes devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens), calendula (Calendula officinalis), hypericum (Hypericum perforatum), rosehip, centella asiatica, and peppermint. Helenalin exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the transcription factor NF-κB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells). Developed by Camilo Jose Cela University and manufactured/marketed by Almirall, Physiorelax is indicated for musculoskeletal conditions such as muscle contractures, spasms, joint or ligament discomfort, and musculoskeletal injuries.
