PIEX (Plant-Identical Extracts) is a line of full-spectrum cannabis extracts developed by the German company Becanex GmbH for use as active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in medical therapy. These extracts are produced using a proprietary one-step extraction technology designed to preserve the natural ratio of phytocannabinoids (primarily THC and CBD) and terpenes found in the source cannabis flower. This plant-identical profile is intended to facilitate the "entourage effect," where terpenes modulate the activity of cannabinoids to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce side effects. PIEX is available in various formulations, such as PIEX 2 (containing 70% THC), and is intended for individualized cannabis-based medical therapy.
