Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PIN-2 is a novel immunomodulatory peptide that acts as a precision immune stimulant. It links the innate and adaptive immune systems to enhance the body's ability to fight cancer. In preclinical studies, PIN-2 impacted tumor progression, increased survival (in combination with cyclophosphamide), overrode tumor-mediated immune resistance, and reduced distant site metastasis (in combination with a checkpoint inhibitor). A first-in-human clinical trial in patients with advanced solid tumors demonstrated pharmacologic activity and safety, showing a rapid onset of action with a marked increase in circulating TNF-α.
