Overview

Pingkang granules are a Chinese herbal medicine formula, modified from the classic Haizao Yuhu decoction, which has been used for over 400 years to treat 'Ying Bing' (goiter) according to traditional Chinese medicine theory. This formulation is specifically specialized for Graves' disease (GD) and has demonstrated effectiveness in several single-center studies. It is currently undergoing a multicentre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to gather high-quality clinical evidence for its efficacy in managing Graves' hyperthyroidism.
