pINGmuTyr is a murine tyrosinase DNA vaccine developed for the treatment of malignant melanoma. Administered via electroporation, its mechanism of action involves inducing CD8+ T cell responses specifically targeting tyrosinase, a melanosomal antigen. This aims to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack melanoma cells expressing tyrosinase. It was evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial.
