Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**PJ-01** is an Essemblix-engineered, prostate cancer-targeted docetaxel therapeutic developed by Parabon NanoLabs with scientific input and testing support from Janssen. The single investigational compound was designed to preferentially deliver the microtubule-stabilizing chemotherapy payload docetaxel to prostate tumor cells and includes undisclosed moieties intended to increase prostate cancer-cell responsiveness, with the objective of improving antitumor activity while reducing systemic toxicity. The targeting ligand, carrier architecture, linker chemistry, sensitizing components, dosage form, route, and clinical-stage progression have not been publicly disclosed.
