Overview

PJ002 is a recombinant glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist being developed by Chongqing Peg-Bio Biopharm (also known as Chongqing Paijin Biotechnology) for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity. Administered as a once-daily subcutaneous injection, PJ002 is designed to enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion and support weight reduction. The peptide is produced using the company's proprietary TE-Pep platform, which utilizes a unique tandem expression design to achieve high-quality, low-cost manufacturing. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical development.
