Overview

PKCδ siRNA (Protein Kinase C delta small interfering RNA) is a research-grade gene-silencing tool designed to knock down the expression of Protein Kinase C delta (PKCδ), a serine/threonine kinase involved in apoptosis, cell proliferation, and stress signaling. It is widely used in preclinical research to study the role of PKCδ in various cancers, including HER2-positive breast cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, and lung cancer, as well as in radioprotection. It is typically sold as a research reagent (such as by Santa Cruz Biotechnology under catalog number sc-36253) and is not currently developed as a clinical-stage therapeutic.
