placebo + somatropin

This is a combination of a placebo and somatropin. Somatropin is a recombinant form of human growth hormone (hGH) used to treat various conditions related to growth hormone deficiency, including pediatric and adult growth failure, Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, idiopathic short stature, chronic kidney disease-related growth failure, children born small for gestational age without catch-up growth, HIV-associated wasting or cachexia in adults, and short bowel syndrome in adults[1][2][3][4][5]. Somatropin acts by binding to the human growth hormone receptor (GHR), activating intracellular signaling pathways that promote linear bone growth in children and regulate metabolism in both children and adults[5]. The placebo component has no pharmacological activity but may be used as a control in clinical trials.
