Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Plane tree pollen skin prick solution is a diagnostic allergen extract developed by Zhejiang Wolwo Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. It is specifically designed for use in skin prick testing (SPT) to identify sensitization to pollen from the plane tree (*Platanus* species), which is a common source of seasonal aeroallergens. The solution is used to diagnose allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis. In clinical practice, it is often evaluated alongside other common allergens (e.g., dog dander, cat dander, cockroach, and ragweed) to determine a patient's specific allergic profile. The diagnostic performance is measured by the sensitivity and specificity of the wheal-and-flare reaction compared to clinical history and other diagnostic standards.
