Overview

Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Concentrate Freeze-Dried (PFC-FD™) is an autologous, acellular, lyophilized biologic derived from platelet-rich plasma (PRP), developed by CellSource Co., Ltd. It is produced by processing a patient's own blood to isolate PRP, activating platelets to release growth factors (including PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β, EGF, bFGF, IGF, and HGF), filtering out cellular components, and freeze-drying the resulting concentrate. This process allows for stable room-temperature storage and a higher concentration of growth factors compared to standard PRP. It is primarily investigated for intra-ovarian injection to treat diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) by stimulating tissue regeneration and folliculogenesis.
