Overview

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with lidocaine is a therapeutic approach that utilizes a patient's own concentrated platelets mixed with a local anesthetic. PRP is derived from the patient's blood, which is centrifuged to isolate and concentrate platelets that contain growth factors essential for tissue repair and regeneration. Lidocaine is added to reduce pain and discomfort during the injection procedure. This combination maintains the therapeutic potential of platelets while providing pain relief during administration. The growth factors released from platelets stimulate and accelerate the body's natural healing processes, promoting tissue repair in damaged areas.
