Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PLD-102 (also known as PLM-102) is a third-generation small molecule inhibitor of Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) being developed by Pelemed for the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It is specifically designed to overcome resistance mechanisms associated with earlier-generation FLT3 inhibitors by targeting drug-resistant mutations, including the FLT3-ITD/F691L gatekeeper mutation and the FLT3-ITD/D835Y activation loop mutation. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery phase of development.
