PLH-2301 is an investigational, orally bioavailable small molecule developed by Pluto Inc. for the treatment of sarcopenia. It functions as a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), designed to promote muscle protein synthesis and increase lean body mass and physical strength by selectively activating androgen receptors in skeletal muscle while avoiding the undesirable androgenic effects on other tissues such as the prostate. Currently in Phase 2 clinical development, PLH-2301 aims to address the unmet medical need for pharmacological interventions in elderly patients experiencing age-related muscle loss and functional decline.
