Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PLX0206 is a preclinical-stage, selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting the KIT (CD117) protein. Originally developed by Plexxikon, the asset was licensed to Kiq Bio, which was subsequently acquired by Cogent Biosciences. PLX0206 is designed to treat genetically defined diseases driven by KIT mutations, such as gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and systemic mastocytosis. It is part of a precision medicine portfolio that includes the clinical-stage KIT inhibitor bezuclastinib (PLX9486).
