Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PMB212 is a first-in-class cancer stemness blocking agent developed by Pimedbio. It is designed to inhibit a novel, undisclosed target protein that regulates multiple major pathways associated with the induction and enhancement of cancer stemness, including Wnt, Notch, Hedgehog, STAT3, NF-kB, BMI-1, and Hippo pathways. By blocking these pathways and downregulating cancer stemness markers and ABC transporters, PMB212 aims to reduce tumor resistance and recurrence. Preclinical studies have demonstrated anti-cancer efficacy in animal models[2][3]. The drug is being developed for the treatment of neoplasms (cancers), particularly those resistant to conventional therapies[1][2][3].
