PMC-002R is a recombinant protein therapeutic developed by Pharmicell, designed as a potent agonist of the Tie2 receptor. It serves as a stabilized variant of human Angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1), a critical growth factor involved in vascular maturation, endothelial cell survival, and the maintenance of vascular integrity. By binding to and activating the Tie2 receptor on endothelial cells, PMC-002R triggers downstream signaling pathways that promote angiogenesis and reduce vascular permeability.
