PMI07

PMI07 is a first-in-class positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent designed to target fibroblast activation protein (FAP). Developed by Precision Molecular Inc., a subsidiary of D&D Pharmatech, PMI07 is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical intended for use in oncology and fibrotic diseases. FAP is highly expressed in the cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) of the tumor microenvironment and in activated fibroblasts during tissue fibrosis, making it a valuable biomarker for imaging. In September 2024, D&D Pharmatech entered into a global licensing agreement with Blue Earth Diagnostics (a Bracco company) to develop and commercialize PMI07. The agent is designed to provide high-contrast imaging to assist in the detection, staging, and monitoring of diseases characterized by FAP overexpression.
